Camera

I currently take most of my pictures with my CANON EOS R6 Mark II (R6m2), a full format camera with built-in image stabiliser and lots of fancy features (the autofocus is a blast). Together with the right lens, this camera is a fantastic tool and a joy to work with.
When traveling light, I use my FUJI X100VI camera. It’s the latest edition from FUJI’s X100 series with a fixed 23 mm lense and an APS-C senor taking incredible images. Its my always-carry-around camera.

Lenses

This is my “always on lens”, the CANON RF 24-105 mm f/4 L IS USM, a very versatile lens with a reasonable focal length range but still very sharp. I use it for landscape, urban and portrait photography. Only in very difficult low-light conditions is it limited by the relatively large aperture of f/4.
When I need more light and/or want to capture something further away, I use this CANON EF 70-200mm f/2.8 L IS II USM zoom lens. It’s fantastic for sports photography and low light, although it’s quite heavy. Since it uses the EF mount, I also use the CANON EF-EOS R adapter with it.

I use my CANON RF 14-35 mm f/4 L IS USM for landscape photography and whenever I need a wide angle. It is great to get those big mountains and wide valleys all in one shot and create a great sense of landscape.
The latest addition to my collection of lenses is the CANON RF 35 mm f1.4 L VCM, a hybrid prime lense optimized for both, photography and video. It’s voice coil motors are fast and silent, with almost no focus breathing and increadble sharpness, this lense is great for a variaty of applications.
